Sun System Lights

Lighting Technology has recently advanced a way ahead than what it was a few years ago. Lights are getting improved with the cutting-edge technologies. Plants are also being grown under artificial lights, so that they would have the finer spectrum.

Fluorescent lighting is used to develop seedlings and help rooting in the clones. Generally, the fluorescent bulbs produce more than 2000 lumens. However, plants usually require 40,000-45,000 lumens. So, Sun System has developed its own lighting system that fulfills the requirements of the plants, grown indoor. The benefit of the fluorescent bulbs is that they are energy efficient and emit a large spectrum of light necessary for most plants. These lights are excellent at sprouting of seed and growing young plants.

While you are working with indoor lights, you have to know the various schedules simulated in an indoor environments.

There are several Sun System lights such as Sun System I , Sun System X Econogro , to name a few. Sun SystemVI , one of the Sun System lights, provide lighting to maximized spectrum with relation to changing of seasons. They have switchable ballast that can run on either a metal halide lamp or a high-pressure sodium bulb .

These are of various sizes of power between 400 and 1000 watts . If you want to change bulb of required watts, then you insert the lamp and put the switch on the proper operational setting. These lights are available with the horizontal reflector, giving better illumenesence. The reflectors that are made of white powder coated steel and spectral pebble aluminum Insert, increase light output by 40 per cent. Another type of Sun System light is Sun System VII Super Spectrum ; here this light helps the user to fix HPS and MH bulbs in one reflector. These lights give the close recreation of the natural light. To get large spectrum, the blue spectrum of metal halide light is blended with the red spectrum of the HPS. After it is finished, spectrum of such fixture would be more than unparalleled to a single lamp source. The fixture comprises aluminum remote ballast, detachable lamp cord, two sockets, two bulbs and a reflector. For this, the single Intermatic Timer operates ballasts so that both these lamps would be turned on or off at the same time. But, the lamps will be operated independently with the dual Intermatic Timers .
